We've been getting reports of bios corruptions with Ubuntu 17.10, mostly
on Lenovo machines and also some others. After some debugging by our HWE
team and some communication with one of the upstream driver authors the
blame has been placed on the intel-spi NOR flash drivers, and the
recommendation is that the driver isn't ready for end-user machines and
should be disabled. The following patch does this.

A note, when applying the patch if the kernel ABI doesn't match the one
for which the patch was generated the modules.ignore file will need to
be moved to the correct previous ABI directory.

Thanks,
Seth
