If you write something that looks very convoluted compared to doing it with irqdomain, you're doing something wrong. But shouldn't this driver be using GPIOLIB_IRQCHIP by the way? That includes irqdomain handling. Atheros AR5312 SoC have a builtin GPIO controller, which could be accessed via memory mapped registers. This patch adds new driver for them.
