From: Benjamin Berg <benjamin.berg@intel.com> NL80211_WPA_VERSION_3 was only added in kernel 5.2 so it should not be set for older kernel versions. There is no direct way to check if the value is supported. However, we can use the new infrastructure to check whether the kernel has the NL80211_ATTR_SAE_PASSWORD attribute. It is related and was added at the same time.
