The keyword @code{__elemetsf__} determines the length of an array operand,
that is, the number of elements in the array.
Its syntax is similar to @code{sizeof}.
The operand must be
a parenthesized complete array type name
or an expression of such a type.
For example:

@smallexample
int a[n];
__elemetsf__ (a); // returns n

This operator is similar to sizeof but can only be applied to an array, and returns its number of elements. FUTURE DIRECTIONS: - We should make it work with array parameters to functions, and somehow magically return the number of elements of the array, regardless of it being really a pointer. - Fix support for [0].
