Right now we're in bugfixes/regressions only for 4.20, and the GISB patch seems to be a cleanup/refactor. -Olof

This is intended for 4.20 and the GISB patch is pretty low risk, which is why I had included it, but I can resubmit without it if you think this is not appropriate.

Yeah, let's try to steer away from doing non-fixes post merge window unless there are strong reasons to do it, even if they might be low risk. Thanks! -Olof
